Dear friends and colleagues,
It was a pleasure to meet members again at our Spring meeting in Madrid.
The Colegio de Ingenieros de Camninos, Canales y Puertos has a very distinguished history. It was indeed a privilege to hold our meeting in the elegant building of the Colegio where we were all made very welcome.
Our Agenda was very full. Our time in Madrid was fully occupied between business activities, a very informative technical visit and an equally active social schedule. Between and during our many activities our members managed to exchange views on a wide range of subjects. Our Task Forces are now becoming more active and we urge you to further support the actions we undertake by playing an active part across all our member organisations.
I will be presenting the ECCE business plan when we meet in September and I hope that we will further develop our shared expertise and look at how engineers play their role in society today.
